Description:
Blaxploitation/horror crossover about undead, decked-out African-American vampire suckin' blood in 1970s L.A. The lack of suspense might disappoint hardcore horror fans, but camp-seekers should get a kick from the ludicrous plot.

In addition to be blaxploitative, this movie is also slightly homophobic overall. The film revolves around an ancient African vampire, who ends up in America after his coffin is bought by two antique-dealing shrieking queens, who are little more than stereotypes.

This movie is surprising in the fact that while the nellie queens do get killed, shrieking like sissies, they do get turned into vampires, albeit weak and pathetic ones.

I love the part at the beginning where the interior decorators have purchased the coffin and find Blacula in it. It is really one of my favorite movies

This movie was fairly dissapointing. It left me thinking 'what was I thinking when I picked this up.'
