In addition to be blaxploitative, this movie is also slightly homophobic overall. The film revolves around an ancient African vampire, who ends up in America after his coffin is bought by two antique-dealing shrieking queens, who are little more than stereotypes.
This movie is surprising in the fact that while the nellie queens do get killed, shrieking like sissies, they do get turned into vampires, albeit weak and pathetic ones.
