A recent college graduate and wanna-be journalist, falls in love with an exciting and mysterious man, Erik, who he meets at a local Chicago gay bar. Bodies drained of blood soon begin appearing in Chicago dumpsters. Steve takes it upon himself to investigate the murders and nothing can prepare him for what he discovers - his new boyfriend is a vampire with a jealous and extremely dangerous ex-lover who is thirsty for vengeance. A gruesome plan of revenge that directly involves Steve is revealed and a circle of deadly events closes around Steve and his friends. Erik knows that he must once again face his ex - and this time, only one of them will survive.

What a great treat to find out that vanity publishing does sometimes turn out enjoyable reading material.

While the story was in need of some additional proofreading, it was very well written and entertaining. A light-hearted read for those that love their vampires to have camp appeal. Recommended.
