Most of the vampires in this movie are gay men, and generally all have relationships with one another, though only the main character's one on-screen. I'm not sure if this movie was aiming to be as campy as it came across or not, but it has a number of eye-rolling moments, some good and some bad.
This movie and Vampires: Lucas Rising, were originally made as a number of TV episodes.
