Description:
A woman unexpectedly inherits a vast but crumbling mansion from a distant relative. The house is haunted by numerous squabbling ghosts from across the ages who died on its grounds, and who are invisible and intangible to the living. Ignoring their solicitor's advice to sell the property, She and her husband decide to move in and renovate it, with the idea of turning the house into a luxury hotel.

The Captain is gay, but is subtly played. This makes sense as historically an officer in WWII England would be imprisoned for being gay. Taking this into account, his character is nuanced and tragic.
