A strangely twisted psychological thriller dealing with what it means to be a unique individual in a shallow and 'generic' society.
The story deals with a gay man who slowly finds himself replaced in his own life. It has an interesting take on the part of the gay community that treats men as interchangeable pieces of meat, and where a man is, at best, a sought-after face in the crowd.
The story may not be for everyone as it is at times confusing and somewhat non-linear. However this effect seems to be purposefully put in place by the author to help convey the plight of the main character.
