Description:
A werewolf loose in Los Angeles changes the lives of three young adults, who, after being mauled by the beast, learn they must kill their attacker if they hope to change their fate.

Qvamp says:

This contains a major character, Bo, who bluntly insinuates that one of the main characters, Jimmy, is gay and delights in tormenting him. He challenges Jimmy to a wrestling match and is bested, while Jimmy points out that the homophobic are often closetted gays. After this, he becomes enamored of Jimmy.

Bo comes out to Jimmy whom he always thought was gay, but isn't, and tries to kiss him. While this doesn't happen, the two do become friends. In spite of Bo's bullying towards at beginning of the movie, he is positively portrayed and remains alive at the end.

This movie showcases one of the newest trends in queer horror... the queer person must be left alive at the end. The queer person dying because he or she was queer is not only a known plot device, but is also considered fairly homophobic/prejudiced; and modern movies are trying to avoid this. So, while horror movies often contain a queer character, they are more and more often staying alive at the end (though stil remaining chaste and alone).
