Description:
A young and handsome sociology professor happens across a grisly murder of an undercover cop while bicycling to work one morning. Before he knows what's happening, he is recruited by the police to help identify the mysterious 'Mr. X,' a psychopath murdering gay men fitting a particular style. He is set up to tend bar at the gay club Grip. During this time, he is infiltrating the gay underground in order to write his graduate thesis on the homosexual subculture. Because of his good looks and ability to fit in, he is quickly raised up to become one of the more sought after men, becoming a houseboy of a renown sadist and an international male model.

As he gets in deeper, he finds that he is the pawn of something much larger, and that he has become psychologically 'programmed' to cause what he hopes to stop.

Qvamp says:

This story is incredibly far-fetched, to say the least, but is quite an enjoyable read. The main character ends up having to come out to himself as a 'true bisexual,' and another main character is a big mover in the gay community and is seeking to help further the cause.
