But the victim doesn't die, instead becoming the Succubus' sister in tainted immortality. The rivals battle for supremacy over the centuries, with the decisive battle fought in modern--day Las Vegas.

Honorable mentions:
If you want general vampire non-fiction, I've found the book "Vampires, Burial and Death" by Paul Barber to be really informative. It's basically a look into the history and folklore of vampires, and discusses where the beliefs came from - sadly, nothing queer in it though.
